Camping and caravanning club - Certified site
Site last updated May 2012

Disabled campers should find the site particularly easy to negotiate.
Electric points
are provided and a new, large and well equipped toilet and shower block has recently
been completed.
Each caravan plot with hard-standing is surrounded by hedges offering a degree of privacy. The plots measure roughly 25 x 30 yards and provide a picnic table and a large grassed play area.
Hungry visitors can make use of the nearby fishery snack bar which can be found
alongside the lakes in the valley just below the camping ground. Full English breakfasts
are on sale throughout the day and there is a comprehensive and ever changing menu
that should satisfy most tastes.
By arrangement with Barlow Fishery, campers with an interest in fishing will find
the eight lakes and the fresh water brook below the campsite to be an irresistible
draw. Ideal for a fishing holiday. Matches can be staged on two of the lakes - one
with a capacity for 15 pegs and the other can accommodate 20 anglers. Phone Dave
on 07836 570066 for match prices and open matches or club bookings.
Angling day tickets
are always available on site. The fishing ponds are open all year round.
Dogs are
allowed and they are certain to appreciate some of the nearby woodland walks. They
must be kept under control at all times.... and please clean up after them.
